Class will meet tonight - weather

At this time, class will meet as scheduled. The following resources are the only official USA information regarding closing. They are:

Phone: 251-460-6999
Your jaguar1 e-mail accounts (in case of closing and/or emergencies, information is sent here)
USA home page. www.southalabma.edu

I ask that you use your best judgement. I understand that many streets and roads are still closed from the previous rains and this additional rain is not going to help the situation. I am aware that many of you commute from various communities in low lying areas, so again, use your best judgement.

I will hand out your Excel assignments tonight. I have also sent a document to your google class accounts. If you have not already done so, please access this document and send back to me via the instructions on the document.

If you have not purchased Foliotek yet, you need to do so by next week. We will load all our projects into Foliotek next week in class, so you need to be there.

Be safe. This morning the news was saying the worst weather was going to hit around 5:00 p.m. today. I have not seen an updated report this afternoon. It is my hope the worst will be over by 6:00 p.m.

Just use your common sense.

Welcome Spring!!!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break!!! Now.... it's time to get back to work :(

I have sent you an e-mail via your jaguar1 accounts. This e-mail includes several reminder project due dates and some comments regarding your professional blogs.

You will need to bring your flash drives to class for the next several weeks in that we will be working with Excel Spreadsheets. I highly recommend you save the work that we will do in class to your flashdrives, otherwise, you will be redoing work at home.

We just have seven more class meetings before the semester ends. Boy, how time flies when you are having fun. See you in class Tuesday.

RSS feed converter

Hey look what Sam found!!! This free RSS feed converter can convert websites to RSS feed (RSS Feed Converter) I had some difficulty. I tried adding the feed to iGoogle, but just kept getting the main website. I added my feed to the Google Reader and it worked from there. I was successfully able to add the Alabama Public Television Kids Game page to my reader. Try it out. Good luck.

Podcast Music

From this weeks post, sounds like most everyone liked the idea of music to start off their podcast. Starting coming up with some ideas of appropriate music that could be incorportated. I am looking forward to hearing your podcast next week.
